Hold me up!! So many amazing events on at present, that for the blogger like myself it is finding time to get around to visit them all before the month end.


One fantastic event on at present is that of The Season Story. One designer that I truly adore, that being Sari Sari, has released these amazing gacha items called "Mrs Bumpkin's Garden". I couldn't resist getting them all and finding some unique way to showcase them for you.


When visiting another awesome event, that being The Liaison Collaborative and The Chapter Four, Dust Bunny and 22769 ~bauwerk, have some fantastic items to add to this collection.

Inspiration is everywhere, but how do you find Inspiration when you blog or even when you design? You might walk through the street, eat out in a restaurant or visit an art museum like I have today at the Neva Villi Art Gallery, and BANG … a big advertising … an interesting structure … a painting or a sculpture … or even a new colour combination takes your mind to an idea.



You could perhaps have an idea in the middle of the night – or just come across a quick thought.
It’s easy to forget all these little brain sparks. They disappear as fast as they come.



But there is an easy solution, I have heard there is a talking app on your smartphone called Evernote that can help you keep track of all your ideas. People get their inspiration from many sources, such as Google, Pinterest, Flickr, or even fashion magazines. You soon will have a big collection of items and be able to come back to a large list of resources which once inspired you.



 I came across this amazing video the other day which took my breathe away. It is a long vid but inspiration in this regard can even come from a bucket of sand. A definitely much watch, absolutely astounding.

There are many signs when to let go in a relationship. The first is when someone expects you to be someone your not. To change for them. Don’t change who you are for anyone else.  It’s wiser to lose someone over being who you are, than to keep them by being someone you’re not. It’s easier to mend a broken heart, than it is to piece together a shattered identity.


To let go though does not mean to stop caring, it means I can't keep pretending that I believe what you believe. To let go is not to cut myself off, it's the realization I can't control another. To let go is not to enable, but allow learning from natural consequences. To let go is not to nag, scold or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them. To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.



To let go is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future. Days are too short to bear a grudge and expect that people will follow your ideals and thoughts. Everyone is different, and everyone has to learn their own way.


I was so excited on the weekend to get an early pass into the Fantasy Gacha Fair one event that cannot be missed. Shaking with excitement, after seeing the headphones in Flickr I made a beeline for the Anc Tuner headphones and then the Pure Poison Shakeelah Feet, which in a few goes I received the rare. There is a place not far from home, when feeling overtired, stressed, or just spent in general, that I find my solitude.  This place feels like home. It is where I was taken on holidays, where I spent every single minute of my time exploring as a child.

Now as an adult, I drive to this place, get out of the car, and walk along the road and just breathe in the fresh crisp air. Listen to the sounds of nature, the beauty of the scenery. Not many people know of this place which for now is quite serene and no tourists around. The harmony of this place, relaxes my mind and makes me feel at peace. It helps me think about life, whether I could ever change a person's mind about me and whether I could be more than just a friend.

This place is my solitude and  where I feel like I belong. Do you have one of those places?

I heard an eight year old ask his mother the other day, What will the year 3000 be like? I was a little shocked that an eight year old would think that far ahead, and was curious what was the response.  The eight year old stared at his mother and then said without waiting, I think that the world will see Aliens arrive, and that since we have so many planets they may look different from us, but they will share common traits. The universe is made of similar atoms. If our new friends have eyes and clear skies they will gaze at the same stars and galaxies as we do. So I think that we will find some Aliens soon, and skipped away happy.

Feeling a little futuristic in this amazing new design called Selina from Legal Insanity, wearing the gorgeous new necklace from Pure Poison, the future for all of us maybe to see some Aliens in time ahead, but for now we should enjoy ourselves and to live each day as it comes.

There’s a strange feeling that overcomes us sometimes when we’re reaching out to someone, it can be a feeling of acute embarrassment. “Are we bothering them?” we ask ourselves, and almost wanting to apologize for even sending a message in the first place. It’s as though our very presence in their lives is a nuisance, and our efforts to connect as friends or lovers is one that only complicates things for them. Or does it?

We want to say, “I’m sorry that I want to talk to you, it’s weird and I should probably stop.” When you do stop though, they reply and you think, OK they just want to be friends, maybe I am over reacting. The one moment when they reach out to you, you know, It is ok to be friends. You may want them to take you to the moon, the sun and back, if you know what I mean, but give it time.
You never know. Being friends sometimes is the best way to be. So don't rush, enjoy the ride. You never know where it will take you. :)

It seems that Australia is the lucky country after all. Well sometimes. We definitely do not get any problems with snow except for parts way down south. Although in some countries and most definitely certain parts of the UK, and America, I have heard are right now under approximately a foot of snow; however the majority of some of the other countries seems to have a dusting of perhaps an inch or snow as well. There definitely must be an active Snow Queen at present.

I have heard that the snow has started to cause transport problems for some people and that electricity can get cut off. Mass flocking of candles and batteries, as well as tin food. So if you are trapped inside, safe and sound, you may well need a sound track, and have found this song for you tonight whilst you contemplate the frozen tundra outside your window.
