Inspiration is everywhere, but how do you find Inspiration when you blog or even when you design? You might walk through the street, eat out in a restaurant or visit an art museum like I have today at the Neva Villi Art Gallery, and BANG … a big advertising … an interesting structure … a painting or a sculpture … or even a new colour combination takes your mind to an idea.



You could perhaps have an idea in the middle of the night – or just come across a quick thought.
It’s easy to forget all these little brain sparks. They disappear as fast as they come.



But there is an easy solution, I have heard there is a talking app on your smartphone called Evernote that can help you keep track of all your ideas. People get their inspiration from many sources, such as Google, Pinterest, Flickr, or even fashion magazines. You soon will have a big collection of items and be able to come back to a large list of resources which once inspired you.



 I came across this amazing video the other day which took my breathe away. It is a long vid but inspiration in this regard can even come from a bucket of sand. A definitely much watch, absolutely astounding.

My blog is a place for me to channel my creativity. It may not always be perfect, but it helps me tell stories, share some ideas and basically my blog is down to earth, realistic and an accurate representation of real life in some cases.

In keeping up with social media, I decided to join tumblr. I like the animated effects you can have on the site, and I am still finding out what I can do, but one Tumblr I stumbled across, actually made me feel sad. The blog was all about depression and how someone so hated their life that ever inch of it was about why are they here, that there is no hope... I ask this person, to listen, and to learn to love. They are not useless, they are loved, and are thought of every day by their friends and loved ones. As humans we are largely responsive to visual cues (pictures) whether we like to admit it or not.
Pictures have the ability to make us feel happy, excited, disgusted, and curious among other things.
We can remember a famous brand just by looking at their image and can even reminisce 10, 20, 30 years into the past to a moment in our lives where we were affected emotionally by a specific event simply by looking at an old picture.  Images can also warn us or give us clues about to what’s to come. Magazines understand the basic nature of human beings and our inability to ignore powerful images.

Images convey emotion about what you are talking about in a powerfully sensory based way and gives additional depth to your content.  Good images create an atmosphere that people want to invoke themselves in and be a part of.  If your visitors can relate to and connect with your images you’ve increased the likelihood that they will return.

I have been told that in the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, the first day of the spring season started on the 20th March.  What I didn't know is that spring brings with it the start of the Tornado season.

Until yesterday, I believed that Tornado's were only found in the US, until turning on the television yesterday I was alarmed to hear that tragedy had occured in the form of tornadoes that had also hit Australia. Shocked by these events, it made me realise no matter where you live, we all seem to share a common ground.  We all have similar weather conditions, just at different times. Spring should herald the beauty, and warmth of the sun, being outdoors with your loved ones and sharing time together, not in fear of what could occur.

I wish everyone a safe and happy spring and a loving Easter with whom ever you share it with.
