We spend our days walking down the street, mowing the lawn, or sitting in our cars with the windows rolled down as the summer sun grazes our skin, feeling energized by the Vitamin E soaking our skin. Oblivious to its dangers, do we actually realise what is happening to our skin when it’s hit by the sun’s ultraviolent (UV) rays? The changes our skin goes through isn’t visible unless your face is placed under an ultraviolet camera, each age shows a difference. Recently I was looking into why my relationships seem to be so estranged.  Reason being I seem to attract Narcissistic type personas.  Anyone with a giving persona, and a desire to help others such as myself seems to attract narcissists. You give, they take. It’s a match made in heaven  hell. It’s an utterly confusing dynamic, not least because it’s so surreal. This happens to me in RL and in SL.

Over time I have found myself running away from negative people, running away from people that have no colour!. Negative people will try to undermine your optimism in any way they can. I have always and will be a person that loves light, optimism, and passion. I find that negative people will try and tell you gossip, bring you into their secrets of what they heard, who said what, what they think of .. endless gossip that isn't nice and harmful to yourself.

If you hang around people that do this, then they will influence you to start seeing nothing but a grim and gloomy world. Maybe the above seems harsh. One of the most endearing traits of negative people is there willingness to do anything in their powers to bring positive people down to their level. Misery doesn’t only love company; it demands it. These people have an endless supply of hard-luck stories, whether it truth or fiction. They demand attention and are capable of bringing down even the most enthusiastic and energetic people.


Don't get me wrong I love to listen to people and to try and help them, I am a caring soul. It is apart of my every day life, that I listen and try to guide and provide advice, whether it be in Rl and/or SL. Everyone has troubles in their lives and no one is perfect. Even the rich have problems. However after listening to endless problems about a person's life, if you try and help them, you suggest a counselor or for them to seek help, and they don't,  then there is not much you can do.
If their negativity continues,  I do the very next thing and run away from people that have no colour - that have such negativity in their life, that nothing will shake them out of their sorrow.  No matter how much advice is provided, They are the only ones that can only help themselves. These are the people that demand drama in their lives just for the sake of the fact they are unhappy with who they are.

There's something to be said for a perfectly tailored dress that fits and flatters in all the right places.  One of the hottest styles for Spring/Summer 2014 is that of ball gowns in amazing natural colours of Silver, Metallics, Gold and Beige.

I read a poem the other day and it said, "The hunger and Fire within, Let out your inner beast and show what's really inside"  I thought about this poem and it made me realise being yourself is important and you should never have to change for anyone. What can be learnt though is that sometimes you aren't always right and you need to recognise that everyone is different and be prepared to learn different ways of getting to know someone.

Miley Cyrus made news last week with a carnival like stage performance at the MTV Awards. The show included life size teddy bears, flesh coloured underwear, and plenty of gorgeous quivering brown buttocks. Almost immediately after the performance many viewers, television hosts, media all went on a rampage at how she could put on a show like that. The comments were something like distasteful, shocking, and many coloured people thought that is was inappropriate of Miley to dance - "twerk" like she did, (so say the press releases).

Yet I look back at the awards, and think, Yes Miley has grown up, She is no longer the sweet and innocent girl anymore. However it was a show. A show to entertain, a show to flaunt her body. To show people she is amazingly beautiful. Her skin is perfect, her waist line to die for, and above all, she can do what she wants when she wants. Can't she?
I am not a fan of Miley Cyrus, but I don't agree with people mocking others for the way they look.

I think, that as long as you are not upsetting yourself with any particular routine, that you are fit and healthy, then there is nothing wrong with showing people that you love who you are, and that you are happy. Did Miley seem unhappy at all? I think far from it.  For once, why doesn't the media, embrace women for their beauty and state, " Miley, Congratulations, you are a beautiful, carefree, and talented woman".
