#203 First Morning Light with Eyelure


In today's irritatingly fast world, you tend to deprive yourself of the much needed oxygen that is anyways getting depleted with time. I have found, that the earliest hours in the morning is my favourite time for a walk. I love the sounds of nature, the smell of the fresh air, the birds waking, the sounds of life awakening in the morning.  I always love this quality time to spend with the greenery and beauty around me, that awakens my mind and makes me feel happy for the day. 

It is quite possible that amidst so much that's happening around you, it is easy to overlook the beauty around us. A great walk, for some has not been possible, but it just takes one small effort and to aim for short distances at a time.  A short walk as a goal for perhaps 10 mins, then increasing later to next week 20 mins and then the following week stretch for a full 30 mins your body will sing praises apart from admiring nature, people, noticing things you haven't seen before for quite some time.

For many of us those things for which you either need luck or in many ways time, it is possible to change today. Don't wait till tomorrow, why shorten your life span, Think to yourself I can do it, I will walk for 10 mins today and start to believe in myself. To give myself a goal, whilst again noticing the beauty around us.

Whilst on my morning walk today, I am comfortably wearing the crisp, new top from Eyelure adorning with the funky styles of Legal Insanity.

#202 Where the Wild Orchids Grow with LivGlam, Glam Affair and Eyelure


When creating this blog picture, I was searching for a name for this blog and asked a friend for help. Call it writer's block..He said to me, " Call it Where the Wild Orchids Grow" . Perfect I thought, and then it made me think of the duet between Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave of, Where the Wild Roses Grow and the theme behind the clip.
That Nick Cave in the song - was so worried about her Kylie Minogue's beauty, that he did not want it to fade. He wanted to preserve her beauty by killing her. Yikes!!, but when asking a few men what they want in a women, this clip goes against what is true to form.
 It made me think that beauty matters a lot to women more than it does to men. Let me explain, When a man (let me call him a 'hunk'), finally settles down with a women, you realise that she is not the typical model look, she is simple, sober, and wise girl who probably won his heart and not just his gaze. Men do admire beauty without any doubt, but beauty to them is not about perfect hair style or taut abs, or taut butt. They look for beauty beyond the features. The beauty that lasts forever - Beauty of mind, of body and tongue. A presentable, sensible women with a great smile, cares about herself, easy to converse with and has an attractive personality. I actually think on SL. that it is the same again. Men generally are shy or just nervous to ask an attractive avi out for a dance or date. Not sure why, again they want someone they can talk too and get to know better. Beyond the looks the real meme.
