#342 When one gets more affection than the other with Pixel Mode, Sassy, Gabriel, BoOgErS, Zenith, Epia, ANE, and ZOZ


The Arcade Gacha is in full swing now, and many of you have been lucky to get into the Fair.
So much talent awaits you when you arrive. The many lovely Gacha machines waiting for your lindens, all anxious to give you the that lucky rare.  The Arcade Gacha runs from now until the 30th June, so if you still are struggling to get in, don't despair the doors will open for you soon and Archibald Gachum will be greeting you at the door.

However, If you can't get in, two other events are showcasing at the same time and that is Fameshed and the Designer Showcase. #298 Circle of Life with Gabriel, Sassy, Belleza and Lark


These beautiful Sunflowers that I found at the Arcade Gacha made me think think that beauty does not last forever. We all have a Circle of Life.  The Circle of Life can be defined as nature's way of taking and giving back life to the earth.  It symbolizes the universe being sacred and divine. It represents the infinite nature of energy, meaning if something dies it gives new life to another.

 A friend of mine almost came close to making a decision the other day if there animal was not going to recover from it's illness. This illness is a horrendous cat flu, and the many questions that were asked apart from pray for my little friend, was also I don't think I could make that inevitable decision if my cat does not get better.

The topic of Euthanasia is one that not many people want to discuss. Apart from the obvious letting go of something that has been in your life for sometimes up to an 1/8th of your life in the case of my friend's cat. To lose them and never see them again is what becomes unbearable. I said to this friend, your heartache and your pain will fade eventually, You will miss them dreadfully, however you would not like them to be in pain, and could never bear their suffering.  Whilst we all prayed this friend's cat is recovering, however there is a Circle of Life, and one day whilst we never want to think about it, life does give way for new beginnings.

#247 Baby, you're my disease with Sassy, Glam Affair and Blueberry



I am the type of women that is pretty darn confident. When at work I become someone that is harder than what I am everyday. When in SL I am always everyone's' friend.  At home sometimes a mix of the above, most importantly, I'm just me.

If I’m honest, I don’t think you should have to be the one that asks that guy/girl you have been “hanging out” with,  if all the texts, IMs, chats, and late night conversations mean something more.  Unfortunately, at some point we stopped wanting to be honourably pursued and sought after. Instead we seem to settle for what the Internet so accurately calls “a flirtationship”: more than friends and not quite a relationship.

I have a very high expectation of being romanced. You see, growing up I am fortunate to have a dad, mother, grandparents that are romantics. I don't mean materialistic, but just showing someone that you care for them, giving them little tokens of love, and affection. 

Hollywood made a movie called “He’s Just Not That Into You”. Have you heard of it?
One day I just decided enough was enough. I took the plunge and said I liked someone.
It was asked, have you told the person that you like them and I said, Words to the affect - “Yes, I like you.. Response was not a no, it was, "I don't think I should". Not sure exactly what that means. It hurt for a bit, yes a lot to be honest. A women's pride..  I did not die.
I still love myself (probably a bit more). However, even though I know this person and who they really are, I am always going to hopefully be a friend and one day wonder if they see me any differently one day. Who knows :)

#227 A Cup of Boho Love with Sassy, Dew and Elephante Poses


I was reading at lunch a horrifying story about animal cruelty. I've never had the courage to watch the stories, nor will I. As soon as the television reporter announces that this story could alarm some viewers, I either make a quick escape, or an excuse to frantically clean or tidy something.  I do that because it upsets me. I honestly don't understand how people can photograph or record or post onto Facebook a video or at least any video about animal cruelty. At some point in our lives an animal enters our life and changes everything. Even on SL, we all love our little critters. Don't we !.

I suppose you ask yourself if they weren't apart of our lives why do we cry/sob when we lose our loved ones or post reward amounts hoping they can be returned. You cannot just exclude and make fun of animals just because you think they are useless. Come On! Stop animal cruelty and if you find a friend posts a video showing an innocent animal being mistreated, delete their friendship as really do you want someone in your life like that ?
So say no to Animal Cruelty.

#201 My Bucket List Meme with Sassy and Belleza


I was asked the other day, "Do you have a bucket list"? My answer was why would I".. " I am still young isn't it for older people? "
 It had me thinking, why don't I create a bucket list.  I know that a bucket list serves as a life goal list for focusing on your dreams. When you don’t have a life goal list it is far too easy to spend all your time, energy and money doing things that really aren’t important to you. I mean who does want that super size TV, really, is a few inches that important? Hmm maybe :) Suddenly, you realize years have passed you by and now you can’t make these dreams happen. By creating a bucket list it gives you a blueprint. A goal.
So going through this website, www.squidoo.com/100things and thinking about my own personal goals, Below is my top five bucket lists meme. Hope you will share with me your bucket lists :)

1. Saving for my overseas trip to Scotland, Wales, Turkey, Italy and England for 2015. To be there for the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli and have mass at Easter in St Peter's Basilica.  I also have Scottish ancestors and would love to trace my family history back past the 1600's, apart from wanting to stay a whole week in an old castle.
2. Finish my house, I mean the renovations are taking forever. This is a very boring goal but seriously am tired of living with a timber verandah that keeps falling down, well almost.    Though I am desperate for my overseas trip.

3. Become fluent in Italian. The language is mesmerizing, and I only know a few words and would love to learn before my trip to Italy. "Per favore posso a vere un cappuccino ?".

4. Second overseas trip - See a bear up close in America, while hiking the wilderness. Of course visit NY along the way and see all the sites, including take in a few shows at Broadway. Did I forget shopping?? OMG definitely shopping!!.

5. Write a Fiction Novel. I have my ideas and just need time to complete.

#66 Halfway between 'Sassy' and RL

After two anxious days I was finally able to teleport to one exciting new event called
'The Whore Couture Fair 2'.
 
Arriving at the exciting destination I walked into a store called 'Sassy',
 
Showcasing this exciting new collection from Sassy, it reminded me that we are all here on Secondlife, to try out different outfits, desire what we can't have in RL, and to chat to
 old aquaitances and new.
 
Sometimes, and not all the time, I feel pulled between SL and RL and thought Sassy was the right word for it, to be one person at one time and another in RL.
