You probably know that buying certain things are cheaper at certain times. Whether you're buying airfare tickets, dining out, shopping online, or buying anything else, there is often a "best time to buy."  Every year year, for me it is the January sales. I hate the Christmas rush but once Christmas has passed I would do anything to get an early park and beat the hassle to mark my territory to get the post Christmas Sales in January. I am the shop keepers dream, well not really ;p. When stores are trying to push out old stock when they're dropping prices I am there waiting for the doors to open.


I tend to do a bit of window shopping prior. Giving away my sneaky habits now. If I find a skirt, dress or top that I like in my size I move it to a different area and hide them altogether, hoping and praying that it is not moved until I come by the next day to obtain during the sale. Of course sometimes as it is hidden it is not marked down but I check the prices and they then have to go check. But at least I have my items :)

For now though, I bring to you a destination that cannot be missed and that is Seasons Story.

Now that I've entered the workforce, I find there are so many rules and regulations. Granted, some of these have real merit (such as the recycling policies, discipline policies, and steel cap boots for safety when you enter a workshop). I know that in my job, I create most of the damn rules. But sometimes, I wish that I could just shake off all the rules and drive down the wrong side of the road for once.

There are some rules that are just plain idiotic and some that just go way too far. Whatever happened to tackling at school, rumbling on the grass, hop scotch, swings, monkey bars, all disappearing because of damn rules.

Forecast for Christmas Day, Humid and Clouds with change of storm. Perfect Christmas Morning don' t you think? Now what to do when the meal was going to be spent on a balcony overlooking the water, or should I say rain. So exit Stage 1, now for Stage 2, everyone inside.

Thinking house packed, children screaming, and adults gaming, some snoring after eating and kids voices raised, with me cleaning up having to watch for breakages. I wouldn't have Christmas any other way..:).. thinking trip somewhere next year..

Well food is now prepared, house cleaned, going through checklists, -  Roast done, Pork Cooked, Ham Glazed ready, Pudding cooking (gave up on the tin), dining table set, Christmas Tree lights on, and time to go for a walk and have some sanity before I collapse from exhaustion. Thinking as the children get ready for bed, it is Christmas in less than 12 hrs, so better go inside before I hear the faint bells of Santa's sleigh.
