In remembering my childhood it was all about Play, and what we could do together, or what we could get up to. My brother and sister, mainly my brother would be the king of the activity and I would be like a puppy dog following him around everywhere. We would grab a sheet and throw it over the lounge, we would be given drinks from our parents, and playtime would become certain people having responsibilities and my brother sitting at the top of his throne being King. Our times of being creative, brings a smile to my soul as I remember all the good times, the fun and the love and fun that we had together, even some of the mishaps as I stare at my scar on my knee. (Story for another time).


I ask myself these days do children have fun?, Do they ask their parents for that old sheet to throw over a tree and some chairs and do they still climb trees and experience life to the fullest. Or have we decided it is easier to keep them at home and indoors where it is safer for them and easier for us to manage them. Children should be outside, running around, getting the scrapes and bruises that we had and lawns are meant to be played on, run on, and jumped on. We all need to remember that!!.

Flux Sur Mer known as the “French Country”,  I was invited to take a sneak preview of these beautiful lands today.  You can imagine the rich french history and magnificent natural landscape truly makes this sim one of the most awe inspiring destinations I have seen in some time. You can imagine when you arrive, the country smells, the small rural town located within which is enveloped by rich farmland and animals grazing. It’s a perfect place for those who want to get closer to nature and experience the old french country feel apart from sitting back and taking in all the delights that sim offers.
