1. Anchor your ship. Allow yourself time to cling to the anchors that bind you. Though it may seem like a strange piece of advice, this is the first step in the process of moving on. Perhaps set a half hour every night to “dwell,” then challenge yourself not to dwell before or after then.

2. Think it through. When you begin to dwell on the past more than you feel is healthy, ask yourself a series of open-ended questions: Why does this memory matter to me? Does it serve me to restrict certain opportunities because they remind me of this memory?

4. Toss  ’em in a box. This is a crafty way of letting go of the anchor. Find any old shoebox and stuff it with memories you may have of whatever’s holding you down. Shut the box and hide it until you’re ready to revisit it again with a different mindset. The key is to not allow yourself to hide it forever, but to get yourself to a place where you can achieve acceptance.

5. Make new memories. Keep yourself busy with physical activity, join a club and meet like-minded people, meet someone who has no clue what you do for a living and why you do it, and just live as much as you can. Every day, you have the opportunity to make new memories happen. This is a gift we often take for granted.

PENUMBRA. has announced their full schedule of shows for the Spring Summer 2015 fashion week,  which goes live from May 16 – and closed May 23. The week features many new elements not seen before in fashion week. Along with runway shows on weekends, mid-week shows will be trunk shows which will designs from many of the designs seen throughout the week in  a more intimate atmosphere. There is a special “Surprise” Trunk Show featuring designers who are participating in Sneak Peek.  Finally, the closing show is Bridal themed with amazing designs from some of SL’s best designers. Is there anything more beautiful than a horse in flight? Just to watch a horse running is an awesome experience. The beauty of its gait and with its mane and tail blowing in the wind it is surely a splendid sight to behold, even more so when it is wild in the mountains.

At Melbourne in Australia when it is close to the first Tuesday in November everyone begins gearing up for the annual running of the two mile classic horse race, the Melbourne Cup and horses are the subject on everyone’s lips. There is a heightened palatable atmosphere and a sense of expectation from both the locals and visitors, who can easily sense it. The city shops are full of fashionable frocks for fabulous fillies and racing breakfasts, racing brunches, racing lunches and racing dinners are in full swing as total Melbourne Cup madness abounds.

The country ladies and gents flock to Melbourne to experience the city life, and the place comes to a complete stand still on this special day. Shops close, no one in the street, a public holiday for all in Melbourne. If not at the race, in cities in Australia others are glued to their television sets watching the race that seems to stop a nation. Melbourne or more so Victoria, was the landscape behind the movie Man from snowy river. The beauty and scenery of the land, is a must see, and one that brings me back every year.

As the excitement builds and the stores are getting their finishing touches, PENUMBRA. Fashion Week is almost upon us. The showcase for this event of the week is unbelievable.
Penumbra Fashion Week is a two sim event that aims to promote the launch of each design house’s seasonal line of clothing, with the most sophisticated production supporting it, ensuring that the designs are the stars of the show.

This event will occur between the 25th and 30th of May 2013.
