#749 Here is how you hail a cab...

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2018 arrived last night in the heart of Sydney and marked a spectacular 40th anniversary. Whilst Alles and myself are not gay, we were there to celebrate Australia’s recently achieved marriage equality, and the arrival of one very special guest star in Sydney…@Cher!

Sydney Mardi Gras is the world's most joyous and spectacular celebration of LGBTQI pride. Sydney Mardi Gras attracts over 20,000 interstate and international visitors each year, who enjoy a diverse and exciting line-up of events as well as soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the iconic surroundings of Sydney and New South Wales.

Whilst some people have their thoughts and opinions on people who are Gay, and may have voted No to Marriage Equality, I myself, believe that everyone should have a right to be happy and as adults no one should criticize another for their beliefs.

So hail that cab Alles, off we go :)

For several decades, the supposedly offending questions have not changed:

Why aren’t you married?
Are you being too picky?
Are you gay?
How will you take care of yourself when you are old and grey?

Of course, no one likes having to defend her or his personal situation; But, whether you like being asked or not, the last question is a good one—if you are single, whether your ready for marriage, or being with a someone, then what exactly is your long term plan?

I mean who is going to take care of you when you can no longer take care of yourself..? or do i care yet?

Life can be hard. Confronting. Shitty even. We've all faced devastating soul-destroying moments, found ourselves lost and hurt, searching in the darkness for a sliver of light knowing that life isn't fair, that some people's lives are more deeply scarred and damaged by the darkness. In saying that, it becomes hard to look forward and to not look back. Just a quick few words about this.. Just remember,
