#825 We all come to a place to play and unwind...

Can proudly state I have entered the 10 year club with my time being on Secondlife. Upon realising the 10 years the other day, I must admit it took me by surprise. Apart from the days of Runescape which I used to play such a long time ago, Secondlife has been my only 'game' that I have been coming back to for so long. Whilst it is a game in which you logon, I have met many amazing people from different countries and different languages that interests me every day.

In the 10 years I have seen so many changes in one game, it is quite amazing. The introduction of mesh is by far one of the largest changes this game has gone through and one that interests me on a creator level, that's if I ever have the time to learn more.

In the 10 years, I have seen some amazing designers have such talent, and truly awe inspiring bloggers that just wow me with their creative inspirations and their life like designs.

One area of Secondlife that I wish would change is the hate factor that seems to appear sometimes when people admire another person's work, and yes they do copy them sometimes. Instead of saying "Wow, I am so proud you like my work", they instead berate and criticize that person which is quite sad and childish. Whilst I don't believe in copying a person's work, I do like people to be creative but at the same time, we are real people playing this game, whether it is just a creative space for you, or you have a business here, remember we all would like to be around for the next 10 years....

#785 Sometimes the earth trembles, sometimes it breathes..

Following your heart and being true to yourself is not always easy. Not everyone will understand. That little voice of self-doubt will try over & over again to creep in & sabotage you, sometimes on a daily basis. This I know is true! It has happened since I started blogging and since I learn't photoshop myself.

That little self-doubt, creeps in slowly like sunlight through a window. I see others and think why can't I be like them, and now and then receive compliments from my pictures and think, Wow, Ok, Really???

Have you ever wondered why you are attracting the things into your life that you don't necessarily want? Or just wished the people around you would change in some way? Or that you wish you could change yourself? Be better, show people what you are capable of, without overthinking about that self-doubt.

It is important that we always bring it back to ourselves. We cannot change anyone else nor do we have a right to expect others to change, but we can change ourself & when we focus our energy on these things around us start to change.

#780 It's Morning Tea Time..

When seeing the upcoming new release for Shiny Shabby, courtesy of Neva Zenga and her store 'Nutmeg', I could not contain my excitement! I jet setted across to Shiny Shabby to grab these amazing bargains.

As a blogger you do receive the items early courtesy of the designer to blog, but must admit I did not want to wait and bought as much as possible.  I was seriously salivating at how beautiful each item has been meticulously created. So, grabbing everything I could early, I can hardly wait to show you this amazing décor in a picture of my own.

The décor you see above, is designed courtesy of Neva Zenga at the beautiful Neva River.  So, adding a few tiny items myself to showcase you this amazing décor so you can see the creative works of Nutmeg and what is available for you.

Neva creates a style so unique and so vintage, it is a style that I wish I could create myself. Celebrating all things Secondlife, I also would like to showcase the gorgeous new designs from Dahlia with the Clarina Café décor and Hive with their 50L Friday potted fan palm plant, and the amazing Dust Bunny and their homemade summer treats.

So, without further to do, I would like to showcase these amazing new works for you now from some awesome designers.

So, what are you waiting for, come take a walk to see this exciting décor live at the following location below, and then don't forget, Shiny Shabby opens its doors on the 20th of this month.
