#499 Calling Heaven, the Gates are closed with Indyra, Dead Dollz, Luxe, and Swallow


I have always wished there was a way that we could call Heaven to make a call to our loved ones that have passed. Imagine if you could. We always say to our friends, kids, and loved ones, - "Call me when you get there", when a loved one walks out the door.

It seems often I say that just to make sure they have arrived safely.  It is weird that once a person dies you don't seem to know did they arrive their safely? Are they ok? Am sure they are.

You say to your loved ones to call me when you get there because you want to know that they have arrived to their destination safely. Once we know this we can relax. Right?

Some of you may have experienced it, but sometimes we wish for that sign that they have arrived safely and that they miss and love us. Wouldn't it be great to make that phone call....

#467 Shivers in my heart with Ison, Truth, Soy and Cinphul



I talked about in a few blogs back what it feels like when you loose the one that you love. The heart ache or that pain that you experience is a lot like when you can a chill from eating ice-cream. Bare with me when I say that, except the chill or what feels like you heart is about to explode lasts in you for longer than the brain freeze you get when you eat ice-cream too fast.

Heart ache can occur when two people decide either amicably to split up or could occur after heated words and one either walks out leaving the other one in tears. Your head and heart feels like a helium balloon about to burst. A family of squirrels seems to have moved into your stomach, your heart feels as if it's clamped in a vise, and though you've emptied a bottle of the natural sleep aid melatonin, you haven't caught a wink all week. No question about it: Losing your one-and-only is a bitch. But stop clutching your chest—the real pain is coming from inside your head.

If you think you hate being dumped, your brain hates it even more. The region of it that lights up when you're in physical agony also goes haywire when you suffer social rejection. Your head is signaling to your body that being dumped actually hurts.

Your new singledom isn't helping any either: When you're in love, certain areas of your gray matter are happily awash in dopamine and oxytocin, hormones that give you feelings of pleasure and contentment. During any upsetting experience, your brain pumps out cortisol, epinephrine, and other stress hormones, which, in limited quantity, help you react quickly to dangerous situations (like when a car is cutting you off on the highway). However, under long-term trauma, such as heartbreak, accumulating amounts can turn harmful. An overabundance of cortisol tells your brain to send too much blood to your muscles, causing them to tense up, ostensibly for swift action which is similar to an ice-cream brain freeze. But you're not leaping anywhere, and as a result you're plagued with swollen muscles that can lead to headaches, a stiff neck, and that awful squeezing sensation in your chest. No wonder we all feel like crap when we have a break-up.

The good news: Though you may feel emotionally trampled for a while, you can at least ease your body's pain. And we don't mean with late-night clubbing, nacho binges, and other indulgences, even though that is generally what we do and it is fun, but this can lead to more physical woes, such as rapid heartbeat and extreme fatigue, not to mention hung over lol.

The best cure to have some early nights sleep, chat openly to your friends, chat to the person that you loved to ease your consciousness if you can, and start remembering who you are and what you want in life. It is all about disassociating your old passions from the moments you spent with your ex, take it as an opportunity to try something completely new, like that drawing class or a trip somewhere new.

#463 The Call of the Wild Fennec's with GizzA Creations, Glam Affair and Half Deer


I am a little behind with posting this pic on my blog account.

There are so many social media sites these days it is so hard to keep up. I bought myself an Apple TV today and was advised by a customer standing by that was listening to my whinge about not being able to use Netflix. He pointed to the Apple TV and said that will do everything for you, and yes it does. I am not that old yet but technology is advancing so fast I honestly can't keep up. I have never heard of an Apple TV, thinking it would cost hundreds of dollars I was pleasantly suprised. After apologising as I thought he was directing me to a brand new TV, it turned out it was a tiny thing like the size of an Apple ipod. Sometimes I think life was much easier when i was younger.

I will sound old saying this now, but I remember the days when all you had to worry about was getting home when the street lights came on. You could be covered in mud from head to toe from romping around outside, but parents didn't care, all they cared about was that you had fun.

John Keats once wrote, "The poetry of the earth is never dead". Poet or not, almost all of us has been awestruck by nature at one time or another. Whether it is running at sunset on a sandy white beach, walking alongside a cool trickling stream or just simply watching sunset over a mountain ridge.
It is so pleasant some time to just sit on the grass and just even hear the wind blowing through the trees. Being outdoors and aware of the world's beauty can make you feel energised and alive.

Whilst technology itself seems to be keeping us more indoors than ever before, I reckon they should create a day that is technology free. Maybe between the hours of 9am to 12pm. Other than Earth Day, we should call it Nature Day, Wonder whether it will take off.. What do you think?

Feeling very much like getting in touch with nature, I took this picture which was taken at Neva River, one of my favorite locations. Half Deer have come up with some amazing little animals that can be found at Kustom 9 available on now they are called the "Fennec Fox". Wearing the beautiful new outfit from GizzA Creations in a colour that I wear alot at home and that is Mango. Sounds delicious dosen't it.
