#609 Got your back Sista...




Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Be the change you want to see in the world” and in that change, one charity in Australia has given hope to a lot of people in domestic abuse situations. This charity in Australia is called the “The Sista Code”

The Sista code has been created to uplift, inspire and support other women, including our most vulnerable ‘sistas’, who have escaped a violent relationship and must start their lives again.

This registered charity in Australia called, ‘Got Your Back Sista’, works directly with domestic violence services and refuges, to provide:

1. Assistance with sourcing and providing household items, household and personal starter-packs, clothing and furniture for women that are moving from a refuge to independent living.
2. Financial counselling and budgeting sessions.

This wonderful organisation, ‘Got your back Sista’ helps support women and children who are starting their lives again after escaping domestic violence.

Both Alles and I being Australian, wanted to share with you this awesome charity and to say to each and every one of you, If you are ever in a violent or domestic abuse situation, do not ever fear of speaking out. There are many organisations like above, within different countries that are there to help you start again.
