Sydneysiders will have to embrace the New Year's Eve fireworks as a TV-only event with our premier shutting down public access to the harbour foreshore after the state recorded new COVID-19 cases.
For the first
time in as far as I can remember, this new year will be different for many.
No travelling
to the city to watch the amazing fireworks and camping by the water for the
best spot.
No international tourists travelling the many thousands of kilometres just to see our amazing fireworks across Sydney Harbour.
