A huge pain point in your working environment, whether that is blogging, designing, or both, or juggling family, life and other jobs outside of Second life is that we all have too much to do in too little time.
To make matters worse, the technology of our business tools, computer getting outdated, programs being enhanced, software not compatible with your computer, business tools such as email, MS Office, smartphones, the internet) is constantly changing. Evolving, and very quickly becoming hard to keep up.
In saying this, it is the reason why my blog has been a little behind of late. With a black screen flickering when trying to move in Secondlife, graphic card most certainly dying, Second life impossible to get on due to the above. Now with a lesser graphic card in use to get me by and still crashing, it is time to save up for another computer urgently.
Our pressure’s aren’t always technology related either. We have pressures in one’s life to manage bills, manage a household, manage deadlines, and manage people even. Given all our ‘stressors’ in life, we often forget to breathe. Not to mention, did I tell you I'm painting my house..Help me now!!
By what I mean by breathe is to have quality time to sleep, have a decent sleep, and a place to rest the head free from the above. Somewhere that is not going to cause more stress, by way of example a phone going ‘beep’ when a text or snap chat arrives.
I have to ask, and yes am guilty of it, who has technology by their bedside, who keeps their smart phone as easy reach, who has their I pad on their bedside table?
Imagine a
night where you can keep the above technology down in the kitchen, down in the lounge
room and a place to rest your head where there are no stressors, A place to
breathe.
