#175 Poseidon's bride with Glam Affair, Gizza and Tableau Vivant

So what do we remember of our Greek Mythology. To be honest,  I think I slept through the whole of Greek Mythology. I can say now, I am more keen to know than ever before. Ancient History seems to fascinate me of late and I am eager to learn and enrich myself with the past.

 

What I can tell you is that Poseidon is the brother of Zeus. After the overthrow of their Father Cronus he drew lots with Zeus and Hades who was the other brother for shares of the world.  Poseidon's prize was to become lord of the sea.  Poseidon then married Amphitrite, a granddaughter of the Titan Oceanus.  

                   

At one point he desired Demeter. To put him off Demeter, he make the most beautiful animal that the world had ever seen. So to impress her Poseidon created the first horse. In some accounts his first attempts were unsuccessful and created a variety of other animals in his quest. By the time the horse was created his passion for Demeter had cooled.

 

Feeling very much like a Greek goddess today, I stand before you wearing the awesome designs of Gizza and the porcelain features of Glam Affair adorning the headdress just realised at Fameshed today.
