Halloween has been such a popular event for
many generations over the years and possibly century?, and as I know a favorite
holiday as well. Seeing small children held the promise of a night that extends
well past their bedtime and collecting more candy than the belly can handle
automatically sending them into an immediate diabetic coma or the opposite, a
complete terror.
The awesome costumes I have seen people wear on
facebook, insta, such as the scariest, nastiest, bloodiest, scabbiest, split
open puss oozing version of a terrifying monster looks absolutely awesome fun.
I guess because in Australia it doesn’t happen here. Yes some suburbs have streets come alive with the sounds of terrifying knocks on doors and roaming around until the wee hours screaming and cackling but it is only some areas.
Unfortunately, Halloween for me is right up there with Bah
Humbug.
I sometimes wish I could go to America and experience
what Halloween is all about...One day.
