#335 A sky full of hope with Fabouzz and GizzA

I think I mentioned a while back that my mother suffers from severe dementia, well she suffered a stroke a few weeks ago and unfortunately her memory is now all gone. I sit by her side, I stroke her cold hand, I look into her eyes and she stares through me and I wonder, 'Mum do you know who I am?

I say to myself, one day she will come back to me.  I will hold her once again, I will hug her like I did such a long time ago, share stories, and long to hear that warm laugh and her beautiful smile. Whilst this blog piece perhaps is a little sad this time, I apologise, it does take it toll on me sometimes, the heartache to show her what I have made of myself, to smile and say Mum I love you, and all the time she looks over my shoulder asking me the nurse to pass her a tissue in her mumbled mixed up voice.
I say to myself there is a reason why she is still on earth, and can only look to the sky and say I hope you will come back to me.
