I notice that friends really wake up when their partners starts to pull away, and you are probably one of them, right now. I do feel for you. Assuming you want them back. The first and only thing to do is look at what do you want? You need to take time, and breathe. Take heart!  Waking up is always a good idea – at least in the long run.

I have four simply rules as to what you should do and I am no expert, but this may help -

1. Give up on all signs of pushing.
This is very important.  Your partner is already moving away.  Anything you do to push them will tend to make them move away faster and further.  Stop anything that might be construed as pursuing or pressing them.  If your instinct is to call them twice a day, start calling them once a week.

2. Survive
Do not be surprised that you may feel awful, or sick, or depressed.  This is normal when you feel left behind, abandoned.  The feeling will go away – with a lot of time.  In the meantime, continue to live your life.  Go to work.  Eat well.  Sleep well.  Do more exercise.  (It will help you sleep.  It will help with any depression you may feel.) 

3. Work on yourself, Visibly
See a counsellor.  Talk your problems over with friends,  Learn what you can. Reflect. Chances are there is a lot for you to learn.  Most often when a partner leaves, they have been planning it for a long time.  You, on the other hand may have been taken by surprise.  All relationship trouble takes two. Be willing to admit that you could have made mistakes. It takes a lot sometimes to believe this.

4. Be available minimally when you partner asks for contact
It is reasonable that your partner will try to contact you.  They may ask for a chat.  Ask, “How long?”  Agree to give them half that time.  They may ask for dinner together.  Agree to give them a short one.  They may ask for you to spend the night.  Think that yes you do want them back but go slow. You have to earn (or in this case, re-earn) their trust and never lose it again.

Have you ever felt immediately sorry for something that you have said, and you think oops I really didn't it mean it that way? I actually meant it.. this way instead.  The person was alarmed at what had been said and you instantly regret the words coming out of your mouth and think, how can I say sorry. How do I make amends?

This was me today. I felt like the walls closed around me.

I wear my heart on my sleeve and always have. I genuinely care about people and think my damn mouth gets in the way sometimes and yes I have heard many times, think before you speak and don't rush, however it also hurt others by my sometimes raw honesty.

For all of you that wear your heart on your sleeve like myself, take heed of my advice. When texting or talking on Sl, words can come out wrong, and can be read incorrectly.  For all of those people that have tried to make amends. People genuinely care and that is why they ask. xx


Destination - ISON

The one thing that I have noticed with Second life is that we all have a common interest. Whether it be to find someone that you enjoy hanging with, a dance buddy, someone to share you inner most thoughts, or someone to have fun with, and/or all of the above.

I have noticed that no matter what reasons we come online, it is the questions we have as to when is it appropriate time to tell him/her who is the real person.   Sometimes within SL, the speed that we seem to share our soul is quite fast, or it becomes a fantasy and the real you never gets a look in.
No matter what the situation. It takes time to learn about people and to build their trust.

I think the most powerful way for any women or male when meeting someone is to be yourself.
Don't rush.  When you focus on simply being in the moment and enjoying each other's company and attention, don't pre-empt that it will work between you. Just enjoy be yourself and let it happen.

I was reading at lunch a horrifying story about animal cruelty. I've never had the courage to watch the stories, nor will I. As soon as the television reporter announces that this story could alarm some viewers, I either make a quick escape, or an excuse to frantically clean or tidy something.  I do that because it upsets me. I honestly don't understand how people can photograph or record or post onto Facebook a video or at least any video about animal cruelty. At some point in our lives an animal enters our life and changes everything. Even on SL, we all love our little critters. Don't we !.

I suppose you ask yourself if they weren't apart of our lives why do we cry/sob when we lose our loved ones or post reward amounts hoping they can be returned. You cannot just exclude and make fun of animals just because you think they are useless. Come On! Stop animal cruelty and if you find a friend posts a video showing an innocent animal being mistreated, delete their friendship as really do you want someone in your life like that ?
So say no to Animal Cruelty.

My blog is a place for me to channel my creativity. It may not always be perfect, but it helps me tell stories, share some ideas and basically my blog is down to earth, realistic and an accurate representation of real life in some cases.

In keeping up with social media, I decided to join tumblr. I like the animated effects you can have on the site, and I am still finding out what I can do, but one Tumblr I stumbled across, actually made me feel sad. The blog was all about depression and how someone so hated their life that ever inch of it was about why are they here, that there is no hope... I ask this person, to listen, and to learn to love. They are not useless, they are loved, and are thought of every day by their friends and loved ones. Hi everyone, Just checking in with all of you out there who's online and/or who loves adventure as much as I do. Even for us adventurous, there are many times that we burn the candle at both ends, and either we don't get enough rest, enough playtime, enough water and well enough love and/or intimacy.  At some point, we are lacking in one or more of these areas. 

This word balance comes to mind,  Here are five ways that I can share with you how to achieve balance and to enjoy all that life has to offer:-

1.  Learn how to say No - Knowing that NO could simply mean not right now, doesn’t always mean no forever.  If you say, I'm sorry, I can't do it now, but I can later. Your immediate stress will vanish and the person or person/s will respect you for that decision.

2. Rest, Relaxation and Sleep - Those magic three words. Rest is what we do to let stress subside. Rest at the end of a day, and at the end of a week, helps us to calm down.  Not to mention, getting quality sleep. Doing fun things that we enjoy in our leisure time compensates us for the stress we experience at work, bringing some balance back into life.

3. Water - We all know that we need water to stay alive, but we may not be aware just what water does for our bodies. It dissolves nutrients and minerals, and it helps to move them around our bodies. Human blood is more than 80% water. Water flushes waste products out of our kidneys lubricates our joints and keeps our eyes, mouths and nose tissues moist. So get that glass now :)

4. Nutrition - Yes I know, we have all been told before, That you need to eat healthy. Yep, fresh fruit and vegetables.  Healthy diets rich in fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases. Fruits and vegetables also provide essential vitamins and minerals, fibre, and other substances that are important for good health. So don't delay, remember to eat well.

5.  Love - We have all heard, love thy neighbour. Without your friends and family, you wouldn't be the person that you are now. So next time, you walk past someone and they smile at you, Say Hello, and don't be afraid to say hello to that cute guy/girl that you have been staring at for so long. ♥

I was talking to a girlfriend the other day about my love for all things boho and she kinda laughed and told me that my style has a lot of boho flair...which is probably why I like it.

For example, the longer my hair gets, the more comfortable I am. I love my messy long hair, and I can always create these great boho-ish styles.

I swoon over just about everything that makes up the Boho style, such as loose tops, arm bracelets, headbands, big bags, flowy skirts/dresses & fedoras, so much makes up this style, and most of all, you can never go wrong!!

Halloween is a secular holiday combining vestiges of traditional harvest festival celebrations with customs more peculiar to the occasion such as costume wearing, trick or treating, pranks and decorative imagery based on the changing seasons, death and the supernatural. It all takes place on October 31.

The name Halloween originaly spelt Hallowe'en is a contraction of All Hallows Eve, meaning the day before All Hallows day better known today as All Saints Day. This day has been celebrated since the early Middle Ages.

My love of can­dles goes back to my child­hood. I always knew when we were hav­ing com­pany as my mom would have the house nice and clean when I came home from school and there would be at least a cou­ple of can­dles burning.  Although my dad couldn’t stand the strong smell of can­dles burning at night. I remember sitting around staring at the candles and the scents mixed in the room.

I love the flower scents of spring such as lilac and the clean, fresh scents of sum­mer like cot­ton and meadow show­ers. Red vel­vet cake and vanilla cup­cake are great for win­ter, but my favourite scents come out in the fall (Winter).  They’re always spicy and some­times woodsy and my favourites typ­i­cally have some type of orange, or apple scent.

I am always on the lookout for the best fragrances in a candle whatever the time of the year, but what I love most about lighting a candle is remembering the love we all have in the family and thinking of my love ones that are no longer with me today.

For now though, I bring to you a variety of destinations for today and these are:

If it wasn't for fashion shoots that push conceptual boundaries, that explore the destinations within the limitless lands of Second life, that provide us with the places to take pictures against complex backdrops, and for us bloggers to tell the stories that requires all hands on deck to make them a reality. We wouldn't have Secondlife pictures for you.

On the other spectrum, I love taking pictures that seem to be without the studio lighting, that offer up a 'natural atmosphere' that gives a feeling of actually being in/around the picture, without any enhancements, where it describes a story and provides an atmosphere of discussion.  My excitement in Secondlife, is taking pictures and trying to relate it to a destination or to describe a mood, love, and/or a feeling. 

For today, right near my backdoor, I wanted to share with you my home. I don't want to describe anything today, but share with you my love of being apart of the Neva River Villi. A dream come true and below are some of the pictures that I have taken of my home here at Neva River Villi.

I love Fall (Autumn) I have always loved autumn. I will always love autumn and I believe that every year, I will find a new reason to love autumn. The reasons are countless and love is an integral part of my personality.
So here is 10 reasons why I love Fall. What are your 10 reasons to love Fall?

1. The Colours of abundance, the ever changing brilliant colours each week. The Reds, the yellows, the orange.
2. Starting to think about Christmas gifts for people. Is sometimes a nightmare but I do enjoy.
3. Thanksgiving preparations and time spent with family. (For my American friends, So wish Australia had thanksgiving)
4. Lighting candles in the evening. Buying a new candle and the scent of oranges filling the house.
5. The smell of fireplaces burning and the coziness and haze around the neighborhood.
6. Warm soups cooking in the slow cooker. The aromas filling the house.
7. The thickly carpeted fallen leaves on the ground and the temptation to shuffle and swing your feet through the leaves.
8. Bonfires on the beach and wearing leggings, a chunky sweater, long boots and socks, snuggling with a loved one overlooking the water. 
9. To wrap my hands around a warm hot chocolate
10. Sitting inside and opening a book that I have wanted to read for quite some time.

We’ve all heard the “grass is greener on the other side of the fence” cliche.

It’s a great saying that keeps us aware that we tend to compare ourselves and think that other people have it better. It is a perception. It doesn't matter who you are, the people on the other side of the fence are thinking your grass is greener!

But if you really want “greener grass, ” take care of your lawn. Water it. Fertilize it. Do whatever it is to make it better. The making it better in this case is you!!

I met some amazing people this week, and all truly just unbelievable designers, artists and bloggers within SL. Each person having unique abilities. I said to a friend at this party, I feel out of place and he told me 'Mischa, don't be silly,  You are unique, you can achieve anything you put your mind to'.

I guess rather than looking at what other people have, take care of what you have and if you want something better, then you can. So I guess the saying is true, With a little faith, my grass can be just as green.
