These are divided into both masculine and feminine, positive and negative, or, active and passive. The masculine signs are Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius, whereas the feminine signs are Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

Being a Taurus myself, pig headed and stubborn, yes that's me. An event that started just the other day is that of the Zodiac. This being part of the Hootie Cooterati experience and being the month of May for the star sign 'Taurus'.  Many designers are showcasing their works and this includes:-

I was looking through Pinnterest the other day. I don't really use it much, but sometimes it interests me just scrolling through the photos to see what people have pinned or what they consider is a good photo. Some photos give me inspiration for my blog and think yes that pose can work, or I might try and find something similar in Secondlife. One photo that made me smile which reminded me of how  extraordinary it can be to capture a moment in time.

The photo was of a couple sitting at a coffee table and her partner must have said something that was embarrassing for the moment and she went to playfully push him with her foot and he grabbed her leg and kissed it. It was so romantic the photo, yet at the same time so captivating that someone could be walking past and just in that moment,  take such a quick and excellent photo of a couple that are in a moment together and are in love.

My photo today taken by one creative photographer within SL (Platinum Photography), decided that for this image wearing LivGlam that he would capture me in a moment of time. That the best time for this image was bordering on dusk, when time is slowly drifting to sleep preparing itself for the new day.

In the real life when it comes to vacation time, there is one thing I love to do is explore. I find myself being a little odd there as most people go on vacations to relax. Quite honestly the only way I relax is to keep busy and to go off the beaten track and explore what the world has to offer. I can tell you I have been in many awkward moments and some scarier than the others, but if I hadn't have done that I wouldn't have been able to see the good and the bad in the world.

I guess that is why I love Secondlife. Secondlife is that part of me that loves to be adventurous.
Someone said to me once that the reason I love to blog is like playing dress up dolls on paper. Well, I guess it is, but what they don't realise is that our designers,  yes while 'decorating' our bodies, makes us look as natural as possible, we are also providing an income for some for all their hard work. So is it much different to real life? In some cases yes, but in other cases I would say No. So therefore I find Secondlife is my release, the fun that I can't have until I go away on vacation.

For now though, I am admiring the beauty at this destination for today called Garden of Absentia. Whilst walking around and exploring this stunning sim, I noticed the glow and thought this was the perfect place for my shoot today for the awesome and always changing collections of LivGlam. The clothing suits a variety of people, with many mix and match outfits. Momi states there is too much room for creativity to live inside of a box. For some of you, today marks a special occasion. Today is a public holiday for all of Australia and New Zealand. ANZAC Day – 25th April.  This is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.  When war broke out in 1914, Australia had been a federal commonwealth for only 13 years. The new national government was eager to establish its reputation among the nations of the world. In 1915 Australian and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. When they landed on Gallipoli they met with fierce resistance from the Ottoman Turkish defenders. This went on for eight months with over 60,000 Australian casualties.

The 25th April, 1915, marks the day that we remember. We remember our 'diggers', our grandparents, our great grandparents and the creation of what has became known as the “ANZAC legend” which has shaped the way we view both our past and our future.  For today we remember their bravery, and heroism, a day we 'LIV' because of them. To 'LIV' each and every moment like it was special and to never give up. Hundreds of designers have come together to create this destination for you all to raise a cure for cancer. Cancer has affected so many of us, if not personally then someone you may know.
One such creative artist has made a short movie based on this destination today. It is a must watch as he showcases the wonders of this  sim beautifully captured in the 'Drax Files' which I ask you to review.

 One spectacular event you can't miss is the 'Pool of Hope Charity', running from now to May 10th.

The Pool of Hope Charity in association with the Best of SL designers including, Meshworx, Templemore City, Energy Club and the Gardens of Absentia, all focusing on thousands of women and men uniting together to walk 60 miles over the course of three days.

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for a Cure is a weekend of hope, as we honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote breast cancer research and help bring breast cancer care to those who so desperately need it.  The 2013 BCA Pool Of Hope Charity will be hosting a series of benefits to assist in the efforts to fight breast cancer by donating funds to the Komen 3-Day for the Cure (www.the3day.org/) organization.  Many events will be organised, these include hunts, auctions, music festivals and designers showcasing their awesome works.

One such designer I bring to you is Pixelites Inc, with the stunning black vintage dress and shoes created by one awesome designer - Lady Avalira.

I am wearing my heart on my shoulder today and thought this animation suited my inner feelings well.  My heart you see has a hole in it that would swallow this computer whole.  It yearns for a family member that is slowly passing away with advanced dementia. To hear her laugh once again and the thought of her warm hugs, makes my tears well up and ache for her like no other by my side. Having to be the stronger one in the family,  I find myself today not being able to hide my feelings. No matter what brave face I put on for my family and friends, my blog tells the story for me.

My mind strays to the times when we walked through the countryside together, hand in hand, laughing, giggling and sharing so many great memories.  I know the times we have together are not going to be much longer, but each day that I visit her I think I know I am not alone.

Wearing this beautiful OrsiniRed outfit called Soft Roses, the delicate creation reminds me that I will always remember the good days we share together and each day that I am there visiting her I know she will always remember me.

I heard an expression the other day and I thought, that's me!  "Why is my needle stuck in childhood?
I don't know why, I guess it's because that's where my heart is."....

This destination today reminded me of my childhood, and how everything seems vibrant and alive and the colours seem to just take your breath away. I am not sure whether you're the same, when I was a child I remember cheering on Simba when he fought Scar. I remember booing at Ursula when she took Arial's voice. I remember fighting the Huns with Mulan. I remember the wind through my hair, running feeling like Pocahontas, imagining I was with my handsome prince. I remember being locked in the Beast's castle, and thinking I was Rapunzel with my long hair. I laughed and laughed at Tom and Jerry, and had lots of dances with Mickey and his friends and many times, I was fascinated by the stories and tales of adventure that I so miss now.

So for our destinations today I have two great adventures that you must visit.
The amazing creations from Matroosha which is hidden at the back of another amazing store - Shey and the place of many colours called The Beguiled: Art Gallery and Studio.

I was asked this question by one of my friends on Secondlife. “Why do women love clothes and shoes so much?” I replied, “My idea of fashion is not all about the clothes, makeup, accessories or hair, but the excitement and energy that the industry gives off. You see, it’s not just about the “stuff”.”

Think of all the hard work all these designers have to do to get all the items we love to try on and be perfect for us. The impossible people they have to collaborate with, the time spent and finally BOOM! they have an item that they then have to sell.

The tremendous thought the designers put into their clothes, models perfecting their struts and poses, photographers taking beautiful pictures, the magazines that contribute by putting it in front of customers, and the manufacturers and hair and makeup artists are designing just for us. Everybody comes together just to make something a reality. Whether a whole line of clothes or even just one shoe, so many people work hard to make it happen and that’s what I love about fashion.

There is nothing I enjoy most than taking a trip to the harbour to gaze down at the water lapping the rocks below and to breathe in the smell of salt fresh air. After a full day at work, just having the sun on my face and the feeling of warmth on my body seems to take all my anxieties away.

Getting excited as I opened the large red box that lay inside my inventory, folded perfectly inside was a gown folded into a square that came in many different colours. I drew it out of its box and shook it out, then it revealed its true glory as I took in the elegant beauty of today's glorious dress from Shey.
Shey have remarkable outfits that come with a hud where you can change the colours of the top or the bottom according to your styles and desires at the time.

Coming to you at this latest destination called Blueberry Harbour, the sites and sounds, you can almost imagine feeling the sun on your skin. Close to a bustling cafe nearby makes me yearn for a nice warm cup of coffee just to sit and take in the sites and sounds of our destination for today.

As I live quite a distance from the city I get quite anxious and excited when heading to the 'big town' for the day.  The city of Sydney is not like NY with over many millions of people walking down the street, but it does get crowded. This country girl still gets a suprise each time I visit just to see how hurried everyone is and how layed back we are only a couple of hours away.

This destination today reminded me of my many visits to the city and how each person brings something unique to their style and way of fashion.  Bringing to you the delights of 'Gabriel' with this low back number which comes in many different and exciting colours. Our destination today created the atmosphere and sounds of the city which I love but can't wait to get home.

One day about 550 years ago the residents in a town in Germany, crowded to the city walls to see a strange group of people who wanted admittance into the city. These wayfarers were short, dark and well proportioned, with jet black hair and eyes. Some of the men were very handsome, and the women, beautiful. They had travelled on carts drawn by donkeys and horses. It has been said that they were our first Gypsies.

Today some bands of Gypsies continue to travel in various parts of the world. In some locations, especially in remote regions, they may still travel by horseback, wagon, or donkey. In other "modern" locations, they may travel in a convoy of trucks, campers, or RVs. 550 years later, Gypsies still exist today. Feeling very bohemian today, I am wearing this new inspiring design by Indrya Originals.

As the Fantasy Faire for 2013 is almost upon us, this destination today reminded me of  a poem I once heard written by a Michelle Macdonald. It captures the romance within Secondlife quite well.
For some of you in Secondlife, your journey here is to be with that special someone for company, satisfaction, romance and/or love.  For others it can also take you to the next step in real life if that is your desire.  All of us are on Secondlife for various reasons, most are here to find that part of us in real life that is missing. For others it is for the company and the new found friendships that we find along the way.

For those of you that have met that special someone then this poem is for you today.

For the role-play enthusiasts, there is nothing more exhilarating than being able to teleport back to a time and a place in the 1860's.   One such place that I found today is called 'Old Savannah'. This role-playing sim has created an atmosphere that takes you back to a time in history during the civil war in Georgia.

Feeling excited to have been accepted as a blogger for Fantasy Faire 2013, I bring to you an event that is worth schedulling into your calendar.  Celebrating its fifth year, Fantasy Faire 2013 is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts, roleplayers and performers in the virtual world.

They say we change for a reason, We grow each day and become a better person. Thinking back I feel like today is going to be a hard road, and one part of change that I am not looking forward too. The meaning of Life and Death. The topic that no one wants to talk about. That we all get old and then die. It is a part of life but never seems to be discussed. It is like a taboo subject, that we laugh about but never take seriously.

I have lost a lot of friends in my life. Each time I came face to face with the pain of loss, I was presented with a choice. In looking back at my life, I have come to realize that the choice was always the same. That I needed to grow and change. As Gandhi said, “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others., and that is my change today. Looking after the ones that made me.

As some are you are preparing for the evening meal, I am stretching thinking about what I would like to do today whilst on a extended holiday from Easter. Thinking it would be lovely to go on a picnic, my son shouts from the other room, are you kidding mum it is going to rain.. sigh. Adventurous he is not..

So whilst it may not be a picnic day afterall, Mischa can enjoy the wonders of the day for me for the time being.

As I am heading into the cooler months, most of you are heading into Spring.

Spring means so much to me and I am guessing to you as well. For some of you, after a cold, snowy and miserable winter, many people are more than ready to see the first shoots of the spring flowers. Spring is a joyous season that is beloved for so many reasons. My heart desires the warmth of the sun, the feeling of being free, the smells of the forest, the green of the grass, and to pick up a flower or three and take them home to my house.

Yet reaching for my jumper, I envy you all that are heading into spring, and I know that it is only a few more months until Spring will be near me again.

So take this time to open your eyes, smell the warmth of the sun, and the flowers that are blooming, Having that time to look around and to shake off the coldness within.

Why we dream is still one of the greatest unanswered questions. Many books and authors offer different theories—memory consolidation, emotional issues, threats, past lives, anger, and hurt, to feel free of all the above. Nevertheless, people continue mining their nighttime reveries for clues to their inner lives, for creative insight, and even for premonitions.

When we were young we never thought about our dreams, in fact we always made believe our lives. We daydreamed and imagined our lives and escapades as princesses, the good witch in the land of oz, ballerinas, soliders, and perhaps even a damsel in distress.
